Billy Time Watercolour Print
Billy Time is a watercolour with fond childhood memories of my fishing family and nice hot billy tea that was always on the boil.
Net repairs on the quiet fishing days with a hot cuppa to pass the time, along with the ever expanding yarns that go with it.
My family where beach net fisherman and as I child I wanted to become one too! But, in the 1960’s this was not a possibility.
Memories of sunny winters days in the fisherman’s tin hut with a big open fire filling the space with a wood smoke that lodges in hair and clothes. That smell brings back those wonderful childhood memories for me. Let’s light a fire and put the billy on.

Paper prints are printed onto heavy satin card stock. A beautiful deep rich colour, semi-gloss finish with strong archival qualities.
