Macrocarpa Red painting process & technique

I created this piece using the negative painting technique, layering washes of transparent watercolour while preserving the light areas of the petals. Through this method, the blossom gains depth and intensity. As a result, it appears alive and full of movement. In this way, the print conveys both energy and a sense of natural warmth.
