“Dawn” is a fresh feast of joyful flowers in watercolour and mixed media.
This exhibition is a celebration of flowers, the bold colours, delicate lines and the joyful promise of a new day. With a particular fascination with our native flowers.
Dawn is also in memory my late mother, a South West Rocks 3rd generation local.
After many years hard working Horticulture, growing fruit and vegetables, where flowers seemed superfluous, my ‘mind’ has turned and I have come to appreciate flowers as bringers of joy.
In this collection I explore different ways to express this appreciation.
This is just in time for Valentines Day, a lasting bouquet for your love could bring a big smile every day.
