My Story
I’ve wanted to be an artist since I could talk—colour, paper, and nature have always pulled at my heart.
Though I’m self-taught, my path to painting wasn’t a straight line. I spent over 40 years working as a naturopath, helping others find balance through natural medicine. Alongside that, I grew bananas and wildflowers professionally—surrounded by the beauty that still inspires my work today.
For 21 years, I travelled annually from Australia to a 400-year-old villa I lovingly restored in the south of France. I held artist retreats there, hosted exhibitions, and became part of a beautiful creative community.
Now, I live near the Australian coast with my loyal studio dog, Tully, and Partner Peter. I have deep love for painting the birds, blossoms, and wild moments that light me up. I’m also a proud mum of three adult children and grandmother to nine bright and beautiful grandchildren.

Tully
Tully – CSO (Chief Security Officer)
Tully is our loyal pooch and official alert system. Whether it’s a delivery truck, the postie, or a suspicious kangaroo, he lets us know—loudly and proudly. When he’s not keeping us “safe,” you’ll find him snoozing in the sun, offering moral support in the studio.
He’s on a strict timetable and reminds me to take a break and go for a walk at the same time each day.
He takes his role very seriously—and accepts belly rubs and lots of cuddles as payment.

My artwork is also available on everyday products like prints, tote bags, and cushions over at Redbubble—a lovely way to add a touch of nature to your home or gift something joyful.
As I grow My Sprout Studio, I’m continuing to license my work and explore new creative collaborations. I’d love to see where my art lands next.
